Ani DiFranco is inspiring to Allison Crowe for so many reasons. Here's a musical one - "Independence Day". Allison has been performing this song in concert pretty much since she took to the stage as a teenager. The passion level is ever constant. Track banter/intro for this song

I have never heard the music of Ani DiFranco, but thanks to Allison covering her songs, I'm sure she'd be pretty good! I like hearing Allison sing "Independence Day"! As always, I love hearing piano playing!
I believe Allison introduced me to the music of Ani DiFranco, too!
Ani is also a great inspiration in the way she does things. She created her own record label, and remains loyal to people, and she and her management have integrity.
